Leading people to Christ

Leading people to Christ

Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Matthew 22:37-40

Amy Layne Litzelman wrote,
“You know, we can quote the written Word all day to our friends, but nothing will touch them like our own hunger and love for the Word himself. It is not dutiful love that attracts but love freely lavished from a heart familiar with the gardens of heaven.”

Over the years I’ve been a Christian I’ve found the best way to witness to people is in deed. By living my faith to the fullest in front of people.
By living my faith I don’t mean constantly quoting chapter and verse from the Bible at people. That I’ve found frequently turns people off.
On the other hand if people see we are genuine in our faith. If they see that Jesus is alive in our words and deeds. If they see His love in our life they tend to want to know more about it.
We as Christians don’t need more preachers in the media. We don’t need more people standing on street corners handing our bits of paper. We need people who are willing to live their life for Christ every minute of every day, and home , at work and at play.
Question: How are you presenting Christ?
Think about it.
