Are you an Instrument?
Jesus said,
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.
Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16.
As believers in Christ Jesus, as Christians we are called to let out light shine before those around us. To let the world around us see our good deeds. The apostle Peter put it this way,
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
Dear friends,
I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul.
Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.” 1 Peter 2:9-12.
My question to anyone who would call themselves Christians, believers in Christ Jesus is do people see your good works even without you pointing them out to them?
We as believers in Christ Jesus must always remember that we are God’s ambassadors in this world. We are tasked with showing those around us God’s love and the way to heaven.
Francis of Assisi wrote,

This I believe should be the prayer of all who love Christ Jesus.Please think about it.
