Pearls, Treasure Poached egg?
Jesus said,
"The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.
"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls.
When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it. Matthew 13:44-46.
Here is the reason Christians want to tell the world about Jesus. We as believers in Christ Jesus believe knowing Christ in a personal way is like finding hidden treasure. Is like finding precious pearls.
Would you not want to tell someone about the most important thing in your life?
I think anyone finding something that is so incredible, something that has life changing implications for them and others would want to tell people about it. And Christ does change lives.
Now I’m not saying that becoming a Christian will be a bed of Roses. There are many Christians around the world that are being persecuted, put in prison, tortured, and even murdered for their faith.
But the fact that even in the worst of situations Christians will not renounce their faith in Christ is a testament to their belief in what Jesus said when he said,
"I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept his claim to be God. That is the one thing we must not say.
A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic — on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg — or else he would be the Devil of Hell.
You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse.
You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God, but let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to." C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity.
So the choice is yours
Please think about it.

“..."I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.”
John 14:6.
Jesus also saying publicly that he is one with God the Father. John’s gospel quoting Jesus as saying,
"I and the Father are one."
John 10:30.
C. S. Lewis wisely said,"I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept his claim to be God. That is the one thing we must not say.
