It seems Outrageous
In the gospel of John we read,
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He was with God in the beginning.
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
In him was life, and that life was the light of men....
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. "
John 1:1-4,14.
Those words written by the apostle John are either the truth, or one of the greatest lies in all of history. Those words tell us that the God that created the heavens and the earth entered the very thing he created. God became man. Jesus Christ is God in bodily form.
The apostle Paul wrote,
“The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.” Hebrews 1:3.
It these words are wrong. Then they are of no consequence as C. S. Lewis said,
"Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important."C. S. Lewis.
So my question to you, the reader.
Do you believe Jesus is the Son of God, God incarnate or not?
Please before you give your answer at least read the New Testament.
Please think about it.
