“He who loves his life will lose it,
and he who hates his life in this world
will keep it for eternal life.
“If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me;
and where I am there My servant will be also.
If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honour."
John 12:25-26Even after performing miracles, many did not believe Jesus was who He said He was. Yet He made it clear to all what believing in Him meant.
If we love our life, the status we have, the position we have, our possessions and such, we will loose it all one day. But, if serving God is the most important thing in our life, more than life itself, then we will have eternal life.
Jesus made it clear:
“If anyone serves Me,
let him follow Me;
and where I am there My servant will be also.
If anyone serves Me,
him My Father will honour.”
We must chose who we will serve. What is the most important thing in our life is. There is no sitting on the fence with Jesus.What greater honour can we have than standing before God and having Him say “well done thou good and faithful servant.”?
Something to think about:
“Nevertheless, even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of
the Pharisees they did not confess Him; lest they should be put out of the
synagogue;”
John 12:41
Something to think about
Are you hiding your belief in Christ for fear of being cast out?
Do those around you in your workplace know that you believe in Christ?
